IHG Ignite 2023 Luxury Guests: Mexico City's Culinary Treasures
Mexican gastronomy, besides being understood as a culinary delight that captivates the senses, is also an exciting journey through the cultural richness and tradition that are rooted in the flavors of this vibrant country. As a result, satisfying the gastronomic needs of the IHG Ignite group was an arduous but not impossible task; and for this, the DMS Mexico team selected a group of restaurants that would exceed the expectations of the diners who would dine that day.
On Tuesday, June 28, the IHG Ignite group, eager to satisfy their hunger, in small groups of 20 people made their way to a variety of restaurants that had been waiting for the day for weeks to joyfully welcome the group's participants and delight them with their flavors. And so, more than 400 people were distributed in 11 restaurants located in the areas of Centro Historico, Polanco and Condesa, factor that thanks to DMS Mexico has the best architects of operations to perform the necessary logistics, it was not inconvenient for participants to have a great experience.

For the small groups to reach their respective restaurants, more than 20 luxury sprinters were needed for the transfers, and each group was received by a DMS Mexico staff member, who made sure that the service was impeccable from their arrival to their return to the hotel. Thus, more than 10 staffs were scattered throughout the different restaurants, while our operations director Guillermo Hernandez was in charge of coordinating the arrivals and departures of the sprinters.

In addition, Adrián Miralrio, manager of the MICE division, was checking every detail of the operation with a magnifying glass and microscope, as we know that attention to detail and impeccability are among our main values.
Regarding the selected restaurants, we gathered mostly signature cuisine with national, Latin American and European touches; and together with the diversity of spaces where these experiences took place, from a former hacienda to a cosmopolitan atmosphere. An experience of the same level was offered, but differentiated among the groups, which, without a doubt, became a unique experience for each group of participants; which when shared among them, undeniably gave them that feeling that, despite having spent a memorable night, they will probably have to return to Mexico City to experience the other proposals, since the same ones cannot be taken for granted.
A delicious dinner close to dear friends and colleagues, the talks and toasts that provoke smiles is what gives us the passion as a local DMC and as a team to provide unique and transcendental memories. So, we can say that this second event was a comforting embrace for both parties, as it reminded us why we provide unique experiences, only for people who understand; however, this was just a prelude to the experiences to come in the next 2 days of the program.
